Anyone give birth at good sam recently?
How much were the newborn photos?
With dd I think a disc cost me $160 but I don't remember.

Wait they did photos at good Sam??? Granted it's bee 5.5 years but no one took photos when I was there!!!

Yes. 4 yrs ago they did and they still do. I actually ordered the pics right before or after my dd's 1st bday.

Strange. On the tour yesterday they said the photographer is still there and my nephew was born there 16 months ago and got pics. I guess I'll just wait and see.

Anyone give birth at good sam recently?
Very odd. Will see what happens. My girlfriend gave birth in 2009, 2012 and 2015 and got pics for all of them. Mine from 2013. Ours were all done by photographers from mom365. They came in on day 2 and did the pictures.

I wonder why I never was offered pics? I thought that was so weird. DS1 I was barely in the hospital because I had him just before midnight on a Wednesday so that counted as Day 1 and then I was discharged by 8 am on Friday so I figured they didn't get a chance to come. Then with the other 2, I wonder if it is because I was on the private unit?

Anyone give birth at good sam recently?
With DC #1 I had to request the photog to come to my room. This was in 2012. 1 yr later with DC#2, they came to my room on their own.

I don't know. The nurse said they go around to every room even the privates. I wonder if it's a weekend vs weekday thing.

I gave birth there six weeks ago. They still have pictures. I actually had to hunt the photographer down. I had done it with my previous two so I knew it was available but this third time it's like they were nowhere to be found. I went to the nurses station and asked and they left the photographer a message and my room #. It was also Holy Week, right before Good Friday, so I'm not sure if that played a role. The only pictures I really liked that they took were of my second. Be persistent in tracking them down if they're not around. Good luck!

Thank you. I'll make sure dh puts the request in the day she is born. I didn't like any of the pics of my 1st born when they were done. A year later and maybe I felt nostalgic but I loved them so I ordered them. Dh keeps telling me we don't need hospital nb and our photographer nb but I'm ignoring him as I did with dd. He loves having both sets now.
