Anyone get bloated from Metformin?
Ugh.
I have been trying to work up to 4 pills a day I'm up to three pills a day and I am so bloated today I SERIOUSLY look about 4 months pregnant. I had to unbotton my pants today and wear a sweater because I was nervous people would start questioning it.
I dont have gas pains or feel like I have to "go" or anything.
any advice?

Sorry, I actually don't have any answers since I haven't taken this (yet). The RE just confirmed on Monday that I have PCOS and I will be starting Metformin soon.
I just wanted to give some  I'm hoping I don't have to deal with nasty side effects. Are you on the regular one or the xr? I heard the xr one gives fewer side effects.

when i FIRST started using met i did get bloated and felt very nauseous from it... after a while though it subsides and no symptoms from it now

I was extremely bloated on it Jen. But after about 2-3 months, it got much better.
