Anyone familiar with Smithtown?
DH and I are going out to dinner tonight and would love a recommendation for a place in Smithtown or Commack. Preferably Main Street in Smithtown but we are open TIA!

I like Chop House, Casa Rustica and H2O. Panchos is great for Mexican and there is a newer portuguese restaurant that I have heard is fantastic but I haven't tried yet.

Hotoke (Hibachi) is on Route 111 which is right off Main Street in the Uncle Guiseppe's shopping center.

Re: Anyone familiar with Smithtown?
If you guys like Spanish food you MUST go to Casa Luis...it is on Jericho between Commack and Smithtown. Their sangria is awesome. Their food is great. It is a small place so call and make a reservation but it is awesome! H2O was always one of our favorites. Butera's is good but will probably be packed

Re: Anyone familiar with Smithtown?
In Smithtown there is:
Pancho Villa on Main St - very hokey mexican decor but really good.
Chop Shop - SO GOOD
H20 - really good
Casa Rustica = really good but $$$
There is Marias in Nesconset, which is close enough.
If you want pub type food, try Faradays or the Old Street Pub.
Lusos is the name of that new portugese place.

Re: Anyone familiar with Smithtown?
If you are willing to head into Commack, I highly recommend Red Dish (its on Jericho just west of Commack road)
