I might be going there at the rate we are going. DD#2 refuses all bottles no matter how long and how hard we have tried - she will starve before she will take one. I have been giving her a sippy w/ water for the past month. She plays w/ it but when she sucks on it and gets water she makes a face and then make a big show of spitting it out. I tried BM once and she did the same thing. She is only 7.5 months but at this rate I have a feeling starting milk will be hard when that time comes.
Etd to add - DD#1 took bottles and I eventually gave her some formula when we went out around 9-10 months when I had trouble pumping - but she took a sippy around 7 months. I BF her until 13 months.

DS had huge problems with bottles. I tried every type out there. What he ended up using was the medela special needs feeders. Those nipples have valves like the breast does. They are expensive ($27). You can order them directly from Medela or get them at BBB.
