I have never heard of them but I did get my hair recently at La Che on Main Street in Farmingdale (across the street from CVS in town) and Josphine cut it. She did a great job. My mom and sister go there.

yes- they used to be details I think.
they are on Merrick rd between Forrest & Hicksville rd, right?
If so- I've been going there since 7th grade (I'm now 32) and I use Wendy... she's the best.
I'm actually going there today- at 11- for a cut & color.

I think A Cut Above is a barber shop next to Details. I use Salon Visage down the road in Seaford on Merrick Road. Its a year old and I love it.

A cut Above is definitely the old Details- they changed ownership but still have the same stylists- especially Wendy- who I've been seeing for about 12 years

Good. I got highlights...a lot lighter than the usual color.
