Anyone ever have kids bowling party?
If so, how much pp was it? Theres no info on the amf site and im just trying to get a ballpark figure.
DS turns 3 in oct and his older cousins ages 6-13 will be at his party and i think bowling is fun for such a wide age range.

Re: Anyone ever have kids bowling party?
WE had one at AMF in commack. IT was about $500 for 23 kids. We also had an age range from 2-10 so it really worked well. The price included invites and thank yous (and they were cute not junky like some places) goody bags (unfilled), pizza and drinks (kids were included I added extra for the adults), bowling for all the kids, shoe rentals and a bowling pin for DS to take home (which to him was the best part of the whole thing, he carried that thing with him for weeks!)
There are cheaper places but I was really happy with AMF and didnt feel the prices were out of line with other parties. The year before I paid over $200 for 11 kids at a painting place. So while this was more than double, it was a better party and had more than double the amount of kids as well!

Thank you for the info! Im only planning on having 10-12 kids did you pay per person or was it a plan for "x" amount of kids?

Re: Anyone ever have kids bowling party?
It was X amount for say the first 12 kids and then per head after that. Plus I added pizza and sodas for the adults as well.
I dont remember the individual costs but if you go to an amf (I know the commack one) had the birthday flyer with the pricing right up front on a table so you can grab one without having to talk to anyone. I will be there this weekend and will grab one if I can remember (which is a good bet because DS grabs all the flyers every time we are there!)

Re: Anyone ever have kids bowling party?
I did it recently at AMF Syosset. Don't have the paper in front of me, but from what I remember, they had 3 tiers:
$17.99 with pizza slice and drink for each kid.
$20.99 with 2 slices pizza, drink and Carvel cake for each kid.
$24.99 for pizza, drink, cake, glow sticks, plus a real bowling pin that each kid signs for the birthday person.
We went with the cheapest per kid, and then ordered about 5 additional pizzas and drinks to feed the adults and to make sure we had enough pizza for the kids if they wanted seconds. We got our cake from Costco. We did our own goody bags. It was a combined party for my 2 kids and there were 32 guests. I think it was close to $650 after the standard gratuity was added in.
ETA: Invites and thank-you's were included in the packages, along with goody-bags (unfilled). They have a whole menu for additional add-ons, including food.

Similiar to the above. $18 per kid. Included invites, good bags (empty), 2 hours of bowling and eating. We too bought a cake from Costco. Ordered two or three pies for the adults as well as soda. Worked out really well. Will be doing this again for DS next party.
