Anyone ever have

their teeth whitened? I'm not talking about the Crest White Strips...I mean professionally done. If so, (and you don't mind answering) how much did it cost and what was the process?

I did the Zoom Whitening just before my wedding last year. I went during a special they were having at a dentist in Hicksville so it was only $200. Similar technology to BriteSmile.

They put this gel on your teeth and then you sit for an hour or so with the light on your teeth. They come in every so often to add more gel. Your teeth are a little sensitive after but it was gone by the next day or two.

Totally worth it!

I did... right before my wedding.. my kit cost 500.00 from the dentist and I had to go home and put the stuff on morning and night for 30 minutes (they made a mold of my teeth)... I couldn't stand it! It hurts and my teeth were so sensitive. I wish I had done the britesmile for 1 hour, one time.. and going through the pain once.. not everyday for a month... and it would have cost the same.. But it did work!

I was going to do it but it was a lottttt of $. I used the Rembrant whitening system (with the gel and the trays for your teeth) and everyone noticed. Even my dentist!! (OK I feel like a commercial now...)

I got one of those kits from my dentist...I think I paid around $250 for the trays & the tubes of solution. I would put them in overnight every few days. They made my teeth really sensitive and the dentist recommended using sensodyne toothpaste which really helped.

Yes I had bleaching trays from the dentist and I also had Zoom done last week!!!

I had britesmile done abotu 3 years ago and it cost $700. It was so not worth it. Yes my teeth were slightly whiter but not worth the money and agony. I sat in the chair for three hours and he did the light three times. Finally my mouth was killing me and i told him i could not do it anymore. Then they were soooooo sensitive the rest of the day/night. The next morning they were fine though.

And i don't believe it works if one of your teeth is really discolored or if you have a mark on one teeth. It will lighten the teeth to a higher shade.

I did before the wedding-- and girlygrl33 hooked me up with her dentist.. It cost about $400 bucks but it was some kind of wedding discount.

I think normally Brite Smile is like $700.

i paid 200 about 2 years ago, it took a few hours and first two days my teeth were so sensative it hurt to breath outside in the winter... now, i still find it painful and sensative on occasion but i never had sensative teeth before - i dont think it is worth it.
