Anyone ever do a combination baptism/birthday party?

My daughter will be one on May 4th. We've been trying to set a date since the fall for her baptism and, with my large family, there's been a conflict every single date we've come up with. So we've finally set a date in May and have decided to combine it with her first birthday party. For anyone who's done this or seen it done, how did you make it all come together? What did you do for cake? Decorations? What did your child wear? Looking for any and all ideas. TIA!

I did this for ds. He wore his baptism outfit for the beginning of the party & then we changed him into his birthday outfit. We did Mickey's 1st birthday theme so the colors were light blue, white & light yellow. We did minimal decorations. Balloon centerpieces in light blue & yellow with a Mickey 1st birthday balloon in the middle. On the cake we had written God bless Ds's name on the top & happy 1st birthday on the bottom.
