I've been to the Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale. They had a good live band when I was there.

Either would be fun. Nutty Irishmen is a rowdier environment(bar), whereas Mirage is more of a lounge/club. Depends on what your style and preference are. We usually go to Mirage.

I've been to the Nutty Irishman in Bay Shore a few times. I don't really like it. It seems to attract a lot of the younger crowd who think going to a club is an excuse to be half naked and wear clothing 4 sizes too small I won't even start on what the girls wear.

HA - I was always a Chelsea Street/Savannah girl.
I probably stumbled into you drunk one night!  ETA For the original poster - Mirage has more of the club music and Nutty Irishman is more of a Bar Scene - so it depends on what you are going for.

out of that list, my fav is Savannah- awesome music and its very large inside, w/ 3 bars spread throughout, so at least w/ a group of 15 you won't really get annoyed w/ getting knocked around when you're trying to get a drink. and there's a huge parking lot, so that's a big plus.
Mirage, my cousin loves that place and goes there all the time, for me its hit or miss.
Luckys- I liked it better when it was Crazy Moose! I miss that place (and the old Dublin Pub!  ......Lucky's isn't bad, but it can be a younger crowd, the music's good but it can get pretty crowded. A plus is that on Bell Blvd you have a few other bar options if you want to hop around (like Monihan's around the corner).....but parking is horrible, so that's something to think about.
I've never been to the Nutty Irishmen.....have fun wherever you go!!

Savannah is great! Nutty Irishman is a bar crowd, less clubby.

If you go to Savannahs be sure to save a dance for the old dude who is there every Saturday night dancing it up by himself... and when I say old, I'm talking 80!
