Anyone else's work stop giving you work?
I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant. All my co-workers went to a conference last week and returned this week. I did not attend the conference. I have not been put on ANY new projects and am getting absolutely no work. All I get asked is how I am feeling. They all know I am 8.5m pregnant. They all seem to think I will have a baby in the next 2 weeks (9m). I don't think they realize there are 40 weeks of pregnancy (10m)!
Anyone else stop getting work?
I'm all for having a lax workload but this is getting ridiculous!

Up until maybe 2 weeks ago, I was still treated like a normal employee. Now that I am EIGHT months pregnant, everyone seems to think I am going to go into labor any minute.

lol - they have no idea, and i'm the only associate attorney in my dept. and we're ridiculously busy.... which means they're piling more and more (and more) on poor ole me. i have a feeling i'm going to tell them sooner than i'd like, because they really, REALLY need to hire someone. we'll see how i feel in another few weeks.
sorry you're not getting any work

Re: Anyone else's work stop giving you work?
That happened with me when I was pregnant with DS. I think I was a little further though, maybe 36 weeks. They stopped giving me new stuff and just had me working on my usual every week/months jobs adn by 38 weeks they started having me delegate those so we knew I was covered. I didnt go out until 39w5d! That last 2 weeks was tough! but mentally I was done so it didnt matter much!

Re: Anyone else's work stop giving you work?
Im a HS teacher so I obviously have to teach 5 classes but I get no extra work ever since I came out - no coverages, no proctoring during exams, and no one says anything to me if I skip a meeting or take a day off - I love it!
