Re: Anyone else's 4 month old not rolling over yet?
I thought Rylan was starting but it was more of a little tease...lol. He's done it maybe 3 times...back to belly. He just doesn't really seem interested in it. I wish he would but i'm not concerned that he's not.

Re: Anyone else's 4 month old not rolling over yet?
Ryan started early (12wks belly to back and 13wks back to belly) but my SIL's son didn't master back to belly until he was almost 7 months - I'm sure your DD will do it soon, when she's ready and I wouldn't be concerned - she sounds like she's almost ready!

Re: Anyone else's 4 month old not rolling over yet?
My DS isn't yet. He did a few belly to back weeks ago and then two or three days constant back to belly a week or two ago. I thought he finally had the hang of it and then he hasn't rolled on his own since. He will finish a roll if I help him onto his side. I'm not worried. I figure he will pick it up eventually. He loves to stand and can support his whole weight on his legs so I figure we may have a late roller/crawler but an early walker We do a lot of tummy time though. If you can start doing a few minutes each day. I noticed with my DS that the stronger his arms got the more he enjoyed tummy time.

Also, sometimes they said to help move them around - give a little push - so they feel what's it's like to go over.

Re: Anyone else's 4 month old not rolling over yet?
Both my girls didn't roll(back to belly) untill 4 1/2 months old. It didn't affect any other milestones for them. My first DD was taking her first steps at 8 1/2 months and my second DD can already stand on her own at 9 1/2 months. Your DD will do it soon!

Re: Anyone else's 4 month old not rolling over yet?
ds just rolled over last week back to belly at 9 1/2 months. Hasn't done belly to back yet, which is frustrating for all of us since he's always rolling over now and can't get out of belly position.

Re: Anyone else's 4 month old not rolling over yet?
My DD has almost rolled over from back to belly. She does it if we help her by putting her on her side. But she can't seem to figure out how to do it herself yet. My DD also hated tummy time so we started doing just a couple of minutes a day and I would lay on the floor with her and play. She finally is getting used to it and has started to hold herself up on her hands now and will last a good 10 minutes before getting cranky.

Chelsea rolled over 1/2 way once and got stuck. She is 6 months old. I asked the ped and she said since she is hitting other milestones it really isn't a big deal.

This is what DS did, around 4 months. Then he stopped, didnt seem at all interested! Then around 5.5 months he started and he is now a rolling machine, all over the place.

Peyton is 3 months and 2 weeks and starting rolling over from back to belly about a week ago. She is huge though. At 11 weeks she was 17lbs.
