Anyone else who has the classic 3 bd/1 br ranch...?
The hallway going from the kitchen to the bedrooms, how is your decorated? It is so narrow, I cant imagine what to do with it. When we bought the house, it had wood paneling and still does because we have no idea what to do with it. Any suggestions or pics?

we plan on putting picture molding on it to give a bit of formality to it with a very ornate light fixture and adding black and white photographs/mini paintings.

This is what we did. Our house had wood paneling down the hallway when we purchased it too and it felt very narrow. We have since taken down the paneling and painted it the same color as the living room (light color). It definitely doesn't feel quite so narrow.

Ours is painted the same color (SW Trusty Tan) as our living room and the doors all have white trim (and hopefully will all be replaced with new doors, which I think will also be white).
We then hung a mirror with a white trim that matches the trim around the doors, and then two other photos/frames in white - one on each side of the mirror.
