Anyone else love onions?
This is weird----only after I became pregnant with DS (he's now over a year) and I can't get enough of them.
On pizza.
Onion soup.
Fried or roasted with potatoes.
In salad.
YUMMY!
Am I the only strange one?

Omlettes
Pizza
pasta
salad
you name it I could prob eat onions in anything. DH on the other hand cant stand them so I have to limit them when I cook for us.

I Love onions cooked or raw! I love thick raw onion slices on sandwiches or in salad, its so good but my breath suffers.

My mom makes stuffed onions - like stuffed peppers.
I think she blanches the onions a little to get the center out then stuffs it with her meatloaf mix recipes and bakes.

That sounds soo yummy!! I love onions! I hated them as a kid but learned to appreciate them as I got older.

LOVE them. raw, carmelized...I use them as a base in almost every single food I make.
I even love their "couins" shallot and scallion and leek

Update: Talked to mom - she doesn't cook the onions at all first. She just CAREFULLY takes a paring knife and cuts out the inside leaving about 1/4" border.
She said she'd put brown gravy around the onions in the pan - I completely thought tomatoe/marinara sauce. We compromised with 1 jar of each.
