Anyone else hear a rumor that the WAntagh district is going to full day kinder?
I've heard this so many times I don't know what to believe!

That idea is always flying around Wantagh. With an Intrem Super I dont see how it will happen next year. The only way I see it happening in the near term is if we receive a multiyear grant.

With the way the budgets are at the moment, many schools are looking to cut K as a whole if they fail. Not sure any district is looking to extend to full day that is currently 1/2 day because it is not state mandated. Don't know the specifics about Wantagh though.

Agreed I work in a neighboring district and we were just told by our supt. that since it's not mandated it will probably go in it's entirely in the next couple of years :(
