Anyone else have LIRR trouble tonight
All in all I guess I lucked out....I was only on the train for two hours and the train was only 58 minutes late arriving into Long Beach.
Going by Valley Stream I passed three trains - Two Babylon and one Wantagh. If any of you were on those stranded

Oh no, which one were you on? I was on the 5:20 and it got in like 10 minutes late and left 5 minutes late from Penn...

LB sux sometimes...
I was on the 6:13. We stopped between Jamaica and Locust Manor for at least 45 minutes - and didn't move. I thought people were going to riot 
LB definitely sux sometimes - I guess dealing with the train is the price we pay to live here. I feel worse for those Babylon folks. They didn't move one bit as we went by.
Oh well at least I could come home, play with my little guy and enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the ocean !

Yikes, that stinks...I hate when that happens and IMMEDIATELY call DH and tell him we are moving when it does happen then I calm down and love it again until I can't find a parking spot

I was on the 6:33 from Penn on the Babylon branch. At about 8:30 we got dumped at Valley Stream. A friend picked me up and I just got home. Gotta love a 4 hour commute!
It looked crazy at the Freeport station. The tarps are all over the place and really blowing around.

I was on the same train-what a nightmare!!!! I hate the LIRR.

My husband was on the train from 5:15 to 10:00-- the tarp fell right in front of his train--I feel so bad for him--I couldnt imagine sitting on a train for 5 hours with no AC :(

I get off at East Rockaway too!!! Bella's daycare is right down the block, so I just go there in the mornings...it's either the 5:20, the 5:55, or the 6:13 for me usually...
