anyone else going to the Baby Shower event sponsored by Viacord this weekend?
It's at Stonebridge Country Club on Sunday. Moms to be receive a goodie bag of gifts and there will be 2 speakers--one from Viacord and the other is Mary Kahrs, a lactation specialist from CFA in Smithtown. She seems to be a very popular speaker on the topic of BFing. There will also be some games and contests, one of the contests is to win photography services.
It reminds me a little bit of some wedding showcases, except that there is a free brunch involved.
RSVP date was September 14 but they took my reservation today. FM me if you want to meet there.
ETA: RSVP to [email protected] or call 631-834-7242. Some people may have seen the invites at their OB's office. That's how I found out.

I was kinda wondering whether most of the attendees would be early on or late in their pregnancies. I was just curious. I guess we will see if your has other plans for you.
