Anyone else going to school while preggo?
I am almost done and I know that but I still need to get a presentation, a research paper and my final done and I just can't focus! I am working on my presentation and I keep getting distracted. Is anyone else in this hell? Sorry to vent.

no but I did last yr while working 3 jobs and planning my wedding, so I know what you are going thru - plus, although I wasnt in school this yr, but I had to study for a huge exam, so I studied every night until my exam which I finally took last mt at almost 9 mts PG, on top of going thru a move and everything else! Its a relief when its all over!!!

Re: Anyone else going to school while preggo?
I'm graduating May 23rd- and I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow.
These last two semesters have been the busiest I've ever been workwise. I flew weekends (my "day" job), had my off-campus placements the rest of the week, AND had classes 3 nights a week!! Thankfully I just went on maternity leave with my airline, so I at least have Sat/Sun to relax.....
I TOTALLY understand being distracted- I feel like I'm in a fog half the time...

I did and it was tough but I did it. I am not done with the degree and I imagine it will be harder now with a baby than when I was pg.

Last year when I went to school, I remember I went with a pregnant woman who was due to give birth as soon as the semester ended - thank god she made it - talk about timing!!!

Re: Anyone else going to school while preggo?
I was PG in my 1st trimester while finishing school last year while working full time . Then studied for a major state board exam in my 2nd trimester.
It was hard but I sticked to it. As some friends told me... it will be worst when the baby is there, crying, no sleep.
I am glad I did not delay.

I'm working on my 2nd masters & just taking one online class, but I find I have no patience & its just so hard to get into being serious this semester.

Re: Anyone else going to school while preggo?
I work f/t and do the reserves along with two grad school classes this semester...i am working on a paper right now (obviously proscratinating with my LIF surfing.) It is hard to focus, but I try to chip away at projects. I was going to take one class this summer (I'm due in July), but I don't think I will. I'll wait until the fall to go back. It isn't easy! I used to be able to work on papers until the wee hours and get up and work all day + my social stuff...now I feel like I work a lot and do school but have zero energy to go out--so not fun but hopefully it'll be worth it. I would have hated to have missed this semester of classes and have more to do later.

Re: Anyone else going to school while preggo?
I work full time and am going full time getting my mba. I just got PG - 5 weeks ago, but it has gotten increasingly difficult! Last friday I took a test and could barely concentrate on it, just wanted to sleep. I have a final, and 2 more papers still till the end of the year - and try to take it one day at time.
I have 2 more classes to take after this semester, so this will be fun! But, as someone said, its important to finish now it will be much harder when the baby comes.

Re: Anyone else going to school while preggo?
I'm technically still in school finishing my dissertation -- though I don't have to worry about taking tests (just grading them). I do have to write, though and its really hard to sit and concentrate when your feeling sick, have to run to the bathroom, and can get distracted so easily (by all the fun and sometimes worrisome things pregnancy brings).
I try to focus on how much easier it is to work now, while the baby is inside, as opposed to how hard it will be once the little guy/girl comes out.
