Anyone else find it odd...
That you don't get a sono every month when you go for your regular appts? I would feel so much better if I could just see whats going on rather than just hear it. I get so anxious between appts it would just put me a bit more at ease to see the baby, but they seem to think different.

To be honest, at first I was like OMG I have to wait how long???? but hearing the heartbeat and feeling the baby move are ok with me now, the bigger they get, the less you see anyway, it looks like a big blur.

I don't mean to be a stickler or be bothersome to the Dr's but whats the harm in a sono to put our minds at ease?! I mean its not going to change but hey a gal can hope right? lol

I agree...we had an impromptu one at like 28 weeks because I hadn't been feeling her much and they just wanted to double check everything was fine (it was) but she was big and we couldn't really see much and there were no fun pictures to print out...it was actually disappointing which seems crazy to say.
I am now 33w and get a sono at 36w but i am content hearing the heartbeat and feeling her shift around. I know she's okay in there.

Re: Anyone else find it odd...
Its actually up to your insurance company, they only allow a certain amount of sonos unless the circumstance calls for more. You could always schedule a 3d one .
