Anyone else feeling down?

I woke up this morning feeling really down. Can't say I'm "depressed", but I am just really down. DH took me out for breakfast today and I almost started crying in the diner. I think it's a combination of me feeling humungous, DH's hours (he works midnights - sleeps during the day) and the weather. I normally love going to the beach or pool during this time of year, and the fact that we are:
a) in the midst of a long weekend and I haven't done either
b) he has to sleep to go back to work tonight
c) I feel HUGE in my bathing suit... is really starting to bother me. I'm sitting here stuck in the house, while he sleeps, watching the sunny beautiful weather we are having, wondering what the heck I am going to do. I know it's not his fault but I guess it's just really bothering me today. I see people getting ready for the beach, and I'm so jealous.

I know this may seem silly to some of you...but I really thought being pregnant in the Summer was going to be so different. I am more uncomfortable than ever, and can't wait for this to be over with.

It's not just you. I cried yesterday because I got so hot and looked down and realized my ankles swelled so much while I was trying to clean. I didn't even get half done of what I wanted to do. It makes me feel awful that I just want to raise my feet when so much has to be done.

I can relate about the beach/pool thing. It looks as if between the heat and the weight gain, I will be spending all summer in the A/C.

i took the plunge and went to the beach. I felt fat and refuse to walk around in my bathing suit but at least i got a little color and it was cooler on the beach then it was in my apt. in Brooklyn.

Yes, but for different reasons. Mainly because there is too much going on in my life right now, and I feel overwhelmed.

I'm just entering the 2nd trimester, so I'm not noticeably pregnant yet, but I wasn't liking the way I look this weekend. You can't tell I'm pregnant, but I definitely have a bigger belly and butt, and I just feel pudgy and out-of-shape. I know it's different, but this is how I felt.
