anyone else?
I have such a hard time spending money on myself. I got some money for my birthday and I have the hardest time not spending it on the house and/or DS

My mom is always yelling at me to buy something for myself - I just can't - I would always rather get something for my kids! You are not alone!

Re: anyone else?
Not me! I am a clothes horse and a shopper. I also spend on hair extensions, highlights, make up (though not a ton on make up) I figure for DD it doesn't matter- she will wear anything and why spend a ton on clothes she gets one season out of . Not to mention she gets all her summer clothes for her bday and all her winter clothes for Xmas. She really has WAY more than she ever wears or needs Me on the other hand, a nice work dress or shoes is an investment. I have work dresses from 6 years ago that still look great and I wear to death

I would rather buy for my son because at least I can get him cute stuff.
I'm so disgusted with how fat I am, and how I look I don't want to spend any more money on it.

This is me too. I always forget to look for myself when I'm out shopping and I buy so much for my DD.

Except I used to buy too much clothes for DS as well but I never have to buy him toys, his bday in October and Christmas so covers for the year. Although with him starting to wear uniforms last year, there was more in the kitty for mama's clothes! Lol

Re: anyone else?
I never did... But then I started going to the gym & it did wonders for my body. I don't weigh less, but I look better, so I invested some $

Re: anyone else?
That's the issue with money for a birthday. I just wind up putting it in the bank to pay bills, but then again CC is bills. I use the CC to buy myself something that makes me feel good or maybe bc I need it. Not so easy shopping when I have the boys, but they're getting older and it's getting easier to get stuff for myself. Especially since I am trying to go out more... date night, girls night or out with friends. GIves me an excuse to go out and get something new.
