Anyone did a microarray (array CGH) while PG?
If you did the genetic test while PG, please tell me about it. When you did it? Preparation, what to expect, etc....?

yes, it's a very specific genetic test.
ETA: This is not a "standard" PG genetic test.

cgh is done on your embroys . CGH checks all the chromosomes unlike PGD which only tests 12 this can only be done if you are doing IVF... if you are already pregant you can do a CVS or amnio

It was my understanding you could still do the Microarray if you were already PG. Not a pregnancy through IVF.

I just posted this the other day and got no response! I had a CVS test done at 12 weeks after they noticed an increase in the neck thickness. The CVS Test came back normal. All chromosomes are there in their correct pairs.
I also had the AFP blood test done at 16 weeks and that came back normal. And so did my 16-week early anatomy scan.
However, we were directed to a genetic counselor and we discussed having further testing done on the tissue sample they had already extracted for my CVS. It's a microarray analysis to check the chromosomes for micro deletions or duplications.
At this point, we have decided not to have the micro array testing done. All other tests lean towards normal, so we are crossing our fingers and moving forward. It's about $1400 and not covered by our insurance.
