Anyone DC have this and know how long it lasts?
Sat DD went out with my parents she came back around 1 and was sleepy so I tried to put her down for a nap. She refused to nap anywhere but on me (she never does this). Well she woke up clingy and warm - so I changed her into something cooler and gave her a drink - she kept getting warmer so I took her temp and it was 101. By that evening she was 102.7. She woke up acting totally normal. No fever, smiley etc. She is eating and drinking normally. Well again like clockwork around 2-3 pm she got clingy and warm again and had 103 last night. I took her to the ped today she had no fever this morning and was good - until our ped appt when she got fussy and clingy again. Long story he said her ears, nose and chest are completely clear but her throat is very red and raw. He checked for strep even though it is rare in kids DD age and it was negative. Of course like clockwork again this afternoon the fever returned. He said it is just a virus and could last a few days to a week.
Anyone else dealing with this? How long did it last for you? I feel so sad for her - she just wants to snuggle in my arms for most of the time.

Is it every day so far?
You know our story with the unexplicable fevers.
I could keep track of all episodes. If she does not get better by the end of the week I would go back to the ped.

DS has had that a few times. It is "just one of those things" and needs to pass through their system. I alternate Motrin and Tylenol and spend a lot of time cuddling.
