anybody use a cosleeper and have a thicker bedframe than standard bedframes?

We just got a new bed and our bedframe is a thick wood, not the standard metal. I was talking to DH about getting the cosleeper and he pointed out that it may not sit flush against our bed since our new bedframe is larger. Anybody experience something similar? TIA!
