Anybody know anything about Ad Kids (for modeling)?
I got a "form letter" so to speak asking if I have a child to start in modeling. I called and have an appt. scheduled for next Sunday. I'm just wondering if anybody knows anything about them. Are they like New Faces, where you have to spend hundreds of dollars to get your child's pics done and then they look for jobs for the kids, or are they a legitimate modeling agency?

I don't know anything about them but any place that wants your money isn't a real agency. A real modeling agency would be paying you not the other way around.

This is what I've heard. I'm just trying to find out if anybody know if this Ad Kids is a place that asks for money up front. I'd like to know what I'm dealing with before I trek all the way into NYC.

I saw the same thing - but when you read their website it says that they are suing or something for something related to those searches. Personally I have never heard of them so I have no idea. Did you check them out with the Better business bureau?

Actually I did check with the BBB and they have several unresolved complaints. It looks like people asking for their $ back and other problems. They haven't even responded to the complaints. I'm going to cancel our appointment.
