Anybody in the final stretch experiencing this-contractions vs. heavy baby movement?

Am I the only one that gets confused with my own body? Sometimes I am so sure I am feeling some sort of contraction, other times I cannot tell whether the baby is just adjusting. Being that she is getting so big with little room left, I can really feel her at times! It does cause pressure which can be similar to a contraction; it can be very uncomfy to the point I have to hold in my breath. Can anybody relate?

absolutely

sometimes I think the tightness is a contraction - and then I'll look down and he's moving all around in there.

We're almost there (I just keep telling myself this!!)

Yes I feel that too...I'm pretty sure it's the baby and not contractions, but it is a strange feeling!

I can't figure any of these feelings out.

the only thing I KNOW is when I feel those lower back, lower ad period type pains...that I don't think is baby.

but when I feel such pressure and a sharp pain at the top of my hoo ha and think I'll see a little fist punching through..yeah.. WHAT is that and if it doesn't mean anything PLEASE STOP.

I am feeling nauseous, I can barely walk without feeling intense pressure...I literally feel like something should be dangling out of me most times...yet NOTHING happens.

on the one hand I'm glad b/c we need the next two days to finish up the bedroom...but at the same time

DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is so not fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ETA: I *think* what helps me figure this out is that the baby has been in roughly the same place with little change for about 2 weeks now...head down, bum and back to the right side, feet more words the left..and hands that seems to be on the left lower abdomen.

the tightness I feel is either low, like menstrual cramps, or around my belly button...not really in the baby's movement zone..

but really what do I know!

Yes! Been having tons of this lately. Then when I look down at my belly one side is up, one side is down.
