Any truth to...
the tale that if you carry high it's a boy and low it's a girl? Just about everyone I know thinks we're having a girl because I'm carrying low, had horrible M/S, and according to some, my face has changed. We don't plan on finding out but I'm curious about how one carries being an indicator of sex.

Everyone guessed I was having a boy based on how I am carrying. Only 2 people thought I was having a girl and like 300 people said boy. Based on 3 sonos, it is a boy!
I had no m/s, my face didn't change. Most of the old wives tales were true for me. But they are not always true

It wasn't true for me. I carried high the whole time and I had a girl. I had no m/s whatsoever either.

I had hyperemesis, my face changed a bit, the old wives were pointing to girl, but its a boy
I thought carrying low meant boy? I am carrying very very low, thats the only boy sign I have

i've never heard the high/low theory, i've only heard that if you are carrying in front it's a boy and if you are carrying all around it's a girl. so far that's never been right for any of my friends except one

With DD#1 I carried very high, my face did not change, I carried all in the front.
Everyone thought boy including strangers(we did not find out)and obviously they were wrong.
This time we are having another  and I have been carrying so low the whole time(I am 32 weeks) again all in front. My face has not changed at all.
Both times were different in the way I carried that if I did not know I was having a from my amnio, I would swear it was a boy.

I carried low the whole pregnancy (1st one) and had a girl, but my face didn't change. This time I'm carrying low again (due in July) but we're not going to find out so I guess we'll see this summer!

Yes carrying low means boy. Carrying high means girl.

I carried extremely high with DD and never had morning sickness, everyone swore it was a boy, but it was girl!!!
I'm carrying lower with DS and had morning sickness.

My nose changed (supposedly a sign of having a girl) so everyone said girl. Although I am pretty much only carrying in the belly (sign of boy).
