any tricks to get a 2yr old to brush teeth?
She used to be great ay brushing & letting me brush but since she's been fighting me on everything these days, It's so hard to get in her mouth.
I've tried buying her a new cute brush & singing new songs but it didn't help.

I use to let her brush mine if she let me brush her's. She thought it was funny.

She usually moves the toothbrush around the back teeth herself, not well, but I'm letting it go for now. My issue is the front teeth. Sometimes I take her toothbrush and go "tickle, tickle" like brushing her teeth is tickling them. She usually lets me in and I can brush the front teeth. This only works about half the time.
She also likes to brush when she sees me brushing.

I told her she has bugs in her teeth and we have to get them out. It's ridic, but it works and she lets me do it. Before that I had zero luck, no matter what toothbrush we tried, etc.

This is what we did as well, but this is honestly the worst thing you can tell your kids- as per my dentist.

I make a game of it by saying stuff like: "Open real big so I can see who's in there. Oh is that Elmo in there?!? Get out of there Elmo!!" You get the idea lol Every morning/night it's a different character

 i think it's great even if the dentist said it's bad, they are no fun!
