Any tips for designing a card in photoshop
I spend a few hours last night playing around. THe layers confuse me and adding text confuses me as well. Any tips, I'm determined!

I have like a thousand
Are you local? Do you want me teach you?
Best way to think of it is it's like making one of those collages you used to make when you were in Junior High where you'd cut pictures of cute guys & words & paste them on construction paper (um..if you were in the 80s, that is).
Your background is your construction paper, you drag the rest of the stuff on top of your background.
I can just walk you through on the phone too if you need.

I may take you up on that offer when I'm ready to create I guess I just have to get used to the menus. Do you have to open a new layer to add everything?

I would open a new layer for each piece of "the collage" so that if you don't like something, it doesn't disturb what you already did. There are some really great tutorials on youtube and other sites to help you understand layers. Once you get started, it's really very easy!
