Any Savvy Shoppers out there?

Trying to get some Holiday shopping done early & we want to get DS a Step 2 kitchen and so torn as to the best time to get one.

Do we order it now? Wait till it gets closer to the Holidays with the chance of seeing it on sale someplace?

I have no patience for this stuff, not one to shop on black Friday, etc.. so just wanted to see when the best time to grab one would be.

I actually bought my 2 year old the step 2 prepare and share kitchen in pink from TRU about 3 weeks ago! I read a lot that October is actually a good time to buy, most people think Black Friday and after, but I've read and heard differently! I also just bought my husband a new video camera last night at Best Buy! I've been researching prices between stores and Amazon and they had the best price! In both stores, you have 30 days for a price difference, TRU would expire for me before Black Friday, but I only paid $80 for it and there is NO WAY it would be less, I'm convinced I got a great deal when I did! As for my video camera, Black Friday falls within my time, so if it does go cheaper ( doubt it) ill get a price difference! Good luck, I'm actually almost done with all my shopping...but that's only because baby #2 is due in less than 3 weeks! Haha

I'm almost done shopping for my girls too. I've done really well at tru online. They are running. Promotion for 20% off any online order plus free shipping of 125 or more. Also they have free layaway until Oct 31st. I did one huge layaway and I'll pick it all up right before Xmas. I don't have to worry about finding a certain item and the best part was it cost me nothing to put it on layaway and pay it out.

I got step 2 kitchen last year two weeks before Christmas and I paid only $59 (it was $119). Sometimes it's worth to wait, but if you do you have to be prepared that they might not have any in stack.
In the last two weeks before the Christmas a lot if toys is on sale.
I am done with Christmas shopping for DS and I start as early as July and never pay full price for a toys.
