Re: Any risks with dealing with a FSBO?

I sold my co-op by owner. It went smooth as silk. No issues.

Re: Any risks with dealing with a FSBO?

I bought a FSBO nearly 3 years ago.

Our first house we bought and sold with realtors.
WE had a smooth transaction with our FSBO.

For us I dont think it was any more difficult or risky than our first purchase when realtors were involved.

Re: Any risks with dealing with a FSBO?

We had a deal go very sour and it's something that would not have happened with brokers involved. It's old news now and I don't think about it much anymore but I will not be doing that again. I know that some people have good experiences but there are too many other properties and the list of things that can go wrong is long enough as it is.

No we did our purchase directly with the owners and it went great. They were ready to get out b/c they had their 3rd baby and were running out of room. They were excited for everything to happen so quickly.
