I never have. Is there a brand you can recommend? How do you use it? Do you need a sponge or your fingers to apply it? Do you use moisturizer under it? Eye concealer over it? Then blush or pressed powder?
I know I sound like a fool but i just don't know.
Thanks very much.

Re: any one use liquid foundation?

I use the Skin Caviar Foundation by La Prarie available at Saks. I use it with my fingers and apply it very generously. I have scars all over my face from skin cancer and this make up covers all of them!

Kathy, thanks so much for you candid response. I'm so glad to hear you found a product that works for you. I hope your cancer is history!!

May I ask please, do you put a moisturizer on first? Do you follow with pressed powder or is it not necessary?

I don't need a heavy cover, just want to smooth out skin tones. I checked out the Saks site and saw La Prarie products. They are expensive but i'm sure a little goes a long way.

Thanks again.

I use a liquid foundation, this is my process:

Moisturizer
Primer
Foundation applied with a foundation brush
under eye concealer
a little powder on the forehead, nose and chin

Re: any one use liquid foundation?

i have oily acne prone skin

when i want more coverage, i use my fingers to apply. I will pour some foundation on my hands and rub them together then apply it to my face all over.

now that it is the summer i prefer a lighter feel, so pour some foundation into my palm, then I wet a sponge and use that to apply it. it gives a nice light coating without looking caked on.

i like teint miracle by lancome for hands-on application in winter. it spreads nicely and has a light feel but with nice coverage.

i like to use maybelline super stay foundation for summer sponge application (and also because it is super affordable)

Re: any one use liquid foundation?

1. Moisturize (actually I use a cheap one from CVS that my dermatologist recommended.)

2. COTZ sunscreen all over face (it has a flesh colored tint, so it's like a primer as well). With Zinc and Titanium.

3. Liquid Foundation all over face with fingers.

4. Powder all over face (La Mer). It sets the foundation and stays all day.
