Any new homeowners filed for the tax rebate?

via amended taxes?

Sorry if its been asked before. I finally got my updated Drivers License and we have our mortgage recap. I'm thinking of including a light bill, water bill, insurance bill and paystub.

I've heard they want more inforamtion than before and they are up to 3mo late on payments

Anyone here try it and get paid? How long did it take? What did you send?

you can't send them bills, (well you can but they won't have a clue why you sent them )

you are required to send them all pages with your signature at the bottom even where there isn't a line to sign, of your closing documents. that's all they need along with the amneded return and a copy of your originally field return

its best to do this through an accountant or CPA though, so the proper forms are used

On average it takes about 3 months when you file an amended return, but it could take longer.

I filed for mine on my originally filed tax return and I had my $ in 4 or 5 weeks

I actually have to send them all the papers I initialed at the closing? Or do they ask for specifics?

I did go to H&R block.. they did the form and told me I needed to only send the mortgate recap.. not all of it. I don't care i'll send every last page if i get my money back faster.l
