any moms that make tutus or headbands for their dd?
13 1/4 is the measurement I use for the elastic for a newborn. There are so many headbands you can make. Michaels actually sells a lot of materials

I found that michaels only had elastic you'd find in the waistband of sweats. If you go to fabric stores - I go to frills and things- they have nice elastic lace and such that you can buy by the yard.
For your dd - I'd make my elastic about 14 1/2, however you could always measure her head!

If you want to make headbands you should buy the elastic from bitsy bands. Best selection and prices. They also sell a ton of flowers.
You can not use hot glue if you want to make clips, FYI - the flowers won't stay on for long.
