Any Moms reading/using Love and Logic?
Just curious. I'm enjoying the book and I see a definite difference in the children of my friends who use this. I thought maybe any of us who read these books could have some discussions on it.

Honestly, I read part of it and found a spot that said you should lock your child in their room for a time out- if you have to barricade the door to get them to stay in there you should, and you should stand outside the closed door and listen but not talk to them at all.
This kind of turned me off to the book.

Hmmm I haven't gotten to that part. So far I find most of it to be pretty reasonable, gentle discipline. I guess I'll have to leave the parts out I don't like. Was is the Love and Logic for Early Childhood?

I got the book a few weeks ago when you recommended it to someone else on here. I've only gotten through the first chapter.

I'm only on the second chapter but I feel the need to speed up because I know I'm not handling certain situations well. It really shouldn't be a battle of wills with an 18 month old.
