any moms pregnant with #2, who previously had pre term labor?
im preggo with #2... with dd1 i had pre term labor at 24.5 weeks and was contracting ever 2 min but never had any cervical changes. i was on magnesium for 2 days and ended up going home on bed rest and a t-pump. i finally made it to 37 weeks and had pre eclampsia issues so i had a emergency c-section... long story short. im now 21.5 weeks with dd2 and im starting to feel those wonderful contractions again. i drink at LEAST a gallon of water a day (yes my pee is clear white from all the water its insane) i feel like im going to float away. i notice if i dont drink ALL of that water i feel the contractions. i work 2 days a week and am home with my dd the rest of the week. im freaking out that im going to have the same issues especially since im already feeling those contractions. im not sure if i shold be bringing it up to the doctor during my next pre natal visit. theres no way i can be on bed rest again with a 2 yr old and it being summer. i dont know how i would make it work. anyone have any experience? if you had bad preterm labor with #1 did it happen again with #2?

Re: any moms pregnant with #2, who previously had pre term labor?
I delivered my first son at 34 weeks--my 2nd pregnancy I started having contractions at 33 weeks with minor cervical change and was put on bedrest & procardia after 3 days in the hospital. I was also on weekly 17p shots due to my history of preterm labor. Needless to say my mom came and lived with us until I delivered as I couldn't take care of my almost 2 year old. It was tough, but I made it thru and delivered at 37 weeks! I would definitely call your OB if you are having contractions, while I know you have been thru this before every pregnancy can be different and they should check you out.
