Any ideas - entertaining related?
My DD is almost 3.5 and we are going to have some friends over who have a 1 year old (almost 1.5 years actually) to watch the football game with us. Most of my DD's toys are too old for him. I barely remember what she played with at the age that wasn't musical/noise related. Since the football game will be on I don't want to have loud toys but I'd like to have some toys around that will entertain the almost 1 yr old. I have some blocks and megablocks... any other suggestions?

My dd could spend hours at that age playing with a stack of solo cups. Those and blocks should be fine.
I always packed some of dd's favorites when we went over someone's house. Would your friend do the same?

My 1yo had plenty of fun with my 3yos toys! She lived pulling things out of the play kitchen. She likes her Lego duplos, shipping cart, stroller, balls, board books. I'm sure anything you have out will be fine especially since it's new to him.

I agree with others. My 1 year old wants to play with all my 3 year old's toys. I would just try to keep the 3 year old from taking out toys with small pieces.

A stack of measuring cups and plastic tupperware from your kitchen will do the job LOL
