Any idea how antibiotics help?
I just had my CD3 appointment with Dr B. He gave me a prescription for Cipro for DH that he has to take for 2 weeks. I'm trying to find out information on what this really means but I can't find anything....  Anyone have any idea what the problem is when a man needs to take antibiotics? I would have asked Dr B but he seemed very busy today and I thought I'd save it for next week's visit...  Anybody has any ideas how this could get in the way of conceiving?

like I wrote on the linked thread above - Our first IUI round we weren't but our 2nd IUI round we were. Dr. B said that if either of us had any underlying infections that the meds would clear it up.
All I know is I am now pregnant !! so they can't hurt !!

My RE put DH and I both on Doxocycline for 7 days. Just for preventative.
2 weeks seems kind of long, so they might have found he just has a minor infection.
