Any familiar with CT?

Specifically, the Easton, Danbury and Newtown areas? Nice areas? Good schools?

Danbury schools aren't great- I don't think they are terrible but others nearby are better. It's a nice area with great shopping and restaurants, nice parks and lakes.

Newtown schools are very good, and it's a nice town.

I am not familiar with Easton as it's not close to either area.

I would also suggest Bethel, New Fairfield and Brookfield. I have friends with kids in all the above schools and they are happy. All are nice towns, not sure where your job/s are- NF is a little further north and Bethel & Newtown aren't really convenient to highways (at least not relative to other areas- I am just over the NY border in Brewster and we have super close hwy access.)

New town and Easton are beautiful areas good schools!

Yes, newtown has great schools! I am not familiar with the other areas you mentioned..

We live in CT in the New Haven area. I am not sure if this area would work for you, but there are some great schools here and the cost of living is not too bad!
