I have a fan in Taylor's bedroom, its great for blocking out the noises that seem to wake her up

Re: any "cure" for a light sleeper?
Megan used to be such a deep sleeper. I remember last Christmas, she was right in her bassinet in the other room and we would play board games until late at night. She would NEVER wake up. When we switched her to her crib upstairs, she became such a LIGHT sleeper. It drove me nuts. Then in the summer it got so much better because of the ac in her room, it drowned everything out. We are back to where we were now. At night, she does pretty well but for naps, its horrible. I go the opposite way and try to make as much noise as possible..even if it wakes her up, I want to try to get her used to it since we lives in such a busy area.

Id say to run a humidifier or play a CD to drown out noise.

We use a white noise machine in addition to a music sleep CD. We use them for every nap and bed time. We shut the music off when we go to bed at night but keep the white noise machine on low.
