Any cheap/ free activities for a 1 1/2 year old?
Just became a SAHM and I don't think the $25 for 45 minutes classes work into our budget anymore. Tbh even when I was bringing home nice paychecks I STILL thought that was so overpriced!
Our Library does a story time on Thursdays and I take DS to that.
Any other ideas?
I'm talking more about structured/ social things- not really like playgrounds etc.

The Holtsville ecology is free. It is outdoors but your child would probably love the animals.
Check bookstores. A lot of them have storytime as well.
Check with your town for springtime activities that are either free or low cost.
Check the YMCA. They sometimes have programs that are much more affordable.

Thanks for the tips. They do have something great at my local Y but of course it's the same day as the library free story time, lol.
