Any attorneys to answer a question about inheritance with in laws?
My husband's grandmother recently passed away. His father, his grandmother's son, is deceased. He was taken out of the will but turns out was still on the deed to the house. Make a long story short, my MIL says she is next of kin and get a share of the house. This confused us all as we thought next of kin would be his father's children but it looks as though FL has strict laws for widows. Thoughts? Input?

Any attorneys to answer a question about inheritance with in laws?
Estate law is very state specific so what I know about the NY laws would not translate. Best bet is to contact a lawyer licensed in FL.
