Any advice
So I went for my 36 week sono 2 weeks ago and Had dropped from 30th weight percentile to 19th at about 5lbs 4oz. Went back today for a follow up and she's only gained 8oz, they were hoping for a pound. Hospital dr (not my OB) wants me to go back first thing tomorrow AM for a full body scan that he wants to do himself and not the technician. I know these are all estimates and I'm My little girl is ok, but they have me worried sick over this. Has anyone ever been through this?

Try not to stress yourself our too much before you get the results (a lot easier said than done, I know). Good luck and keep us updated!

Re: Any advice
DS1 started measuring small at around 34 weeks. They had me go immediately for a u/s and then come in for weekly u/s and bio(something something - I can't remember the term). There was talk of a c-section and partial bed rest. This is the abbreviated version, but basically they drove me crazy! DS was born via c-section for reasons unrelated to his size - but he was born at 6lbs 14 ounces. I hope that's helpful to hear. Good luck, try not to stress it to much, your body knows what it's doing :)

Any advice
you're 36 weeks and the baby is estimated over 5lbs. even if they had to deliver you early chances are great that there would be no issues at all. try not to worry, it will just elevate your blood pressure and make things worse.

Any advice
Definitely try not to stress. This happened to my friend in July. They (meaning the drs) ended up not doing any further testing. They said she was just small and my friend delivered her daughter at 40 weeks exactly. The baby was born at 5 lbs 13 oz and was given a clean bill of health. A few hours later, they discovered she has tapvr...a heart defect. 2 days later, she had surgery to repair it. 6 weeks later, she is fine. I swear i'm not sharing this story to scare you. Let them do all testing possible so you can rule out everything like this. It may be nothing at all, but at least you will know for sure. My poor friend was blindsided and I blame her dr for not looking into anything when the baby stopped gaining at 35 weeks. Prayers that everything is fine!!

Re: Any advice
DS was measured at 5lbs 3oz at 35w 5days and was born at 39 weeks at 6lbs 9oz. I dont see that being too small as a cause for concern...they told me my baby was measuring small and he is BIG kid now!
