Anxiety sufferers
Do you feel as though you have "flare ups" occasionally? I am doing fine, and then bam, I have a "bad" week. Even though I am taking meds.

Re: Anxiety sufferers
yes. i do not take meds but some weeks are better than others. usually it happens after stress and it happens out of nowhere
i try to breath through my nose using my stomach instead of my lungs- it usually helps to nip the bad feelings in the bud

Re: Anxiety sufferers
I get anxiety almost daily! I definitely feel your pain. I am not on medication yet...trying to get through it without for a while...not working so well. When I get overwhelmed it gets really bad...

Re: Anxiety sufferers
Yeah I have been doing the deep breathing stuff...took a xanax this am (low dose)...
Can't concentrate and very fidgety...hate that feeling. Tightness in my chest. I know it will go away but I haven't had the chest tightness in ages....I don't want it back

Re: Anxiety sufferers
I am not on meds, but I probably should be. I usually feel it most at night and during high stress situations. I try clearing my mind of all thoughts, reading, watching mindless tv, breathing, yoga, whatever works.

Re: Anxiety sufferers
I also take Zoloft and I definitely still go though my bad days and weeks with anxiety. Although without the medication it would be daily.
