Anxiety Level near the end

I have 26 days until my due date but dr said it could happen any day.

I have been so cool, calm, and collected this pregnancy but all of a sudden my anxiety is through the rough. I am scared to be alone, petrified of giving birth, hating not knowing what to expect and worrying that everything will be ok.

I am sure it is common for first time moms to feel like this but anyone have any ideas on how to calm the nerves at the end and enjoy these last few days?

Anyone else feeling extremely anxious and nervous as well?

I remember that frenzied feeling..

best thing to do is take time for yourself and DH right now.

remember: giving birth can be scary, but it's not going to take long. It's temporary...all of it is. Any pain you may feel (which you may not) or any discomfort...all temporary

women have been giving birth since the beginning of time.

funny thing is women keep going back for more...

Oh yes, that feeling kicked in a week or so ago and now, 2 days before my due date, IDK what to do with myself!!!

I keep telling myself that it's 100% normal to feel this way... it's an unknown for us 1st time Moms! We don't know what to expect!

Take this time to just go with the flow and enjoy what's about to happen and lean on DH as much as you can right now. I'm sure he's feeling the same way! I know mine is!!!

I haven't gotten there yet about the birth. I think I'm in denial that the baby is coming out—in a painful way—at some point. My DH and mom are on my case about the fact that I say I'm working and commuting to the end. Even though I'm already feeling uncomfortable, I seem to think I can do it, no problem.

I'm more anxious about work and getting everything done and organized for my freelancer. I have so much regular work to do, I feel like I haven't gotten much of a chance to do that yet. And I'm afraid I'm going to go early and leave behind a big mess!

I am the complete opposite.. I have somehow been SO calm these last few weeks.. to the point where Im scaring myself lol. I feel no anxiety (and I am usually an anxious mess).. just excited for him to come!

I'm definiutely feeling worried about labor and when it will happen and how I will handle it etc.

However, the other night I got this pang of anxiety that OMG...that next week or sooner I will be someones mom for the rest of my life! When did I sign up for this

I felt that way from around 32 weeks...I was TERRIFIED...now with about 11 days to go till my due date I am feeling calm..nerves have turned to excitment. Don't get me wrong I am terrified of labor. but I can't wait to see what my little boy looks like! I hope the calm stays!
