antiverted placenta?
has anyone heard of this? i was told at my level 2 that i have one and when asked what that meant she just said it means my placenta is in the front?? i didn't make much of it but now i was trying to look it up and realize that maybe that's why i'm not feeling the baby as much?? i can't find much info on this? thanks

It's actually called an anterior placenta. Evidently, I had one during this last pregnancy. I really didn't start to feel movement "for real" until like 19 weeks, whereas with DD#1 I felt her around 15.5 weeks. Once the baby really started moving, I couldn't tell any difference having the anterior placenta.
It's no worry, it's just a placenta in the front while the majority are located in the back.

thanks. does it make me more suseptible to csection or anything? I'm 20 weeks - i've felt flutters here and there but not too much and no major kicks or anything yet...

Never heard of that but my placenta is also in the front and they keep referring to it as an anterior placenta. They said that I probalby won't feel the baby as early as most people, but he is kicking away in there!
It doesn't make you more suseptable to a csection

I had an anterior placenta. I don't think it causes any risk. The only thing is that you don't feel the kicks as strongly because the placenta is lying in front in front of the baby. I hardly felt my son kick.

thank you!!! i googled some info -- anterior sounds more like it... it says its fine and can also shift toward posterior as preg progresses so hopefully i'll feel more movement... I do feel little twings here and there but i want the MAJOR kicks 
no morning sickness, no kicking, my baby is a mysterious one... thank GOD for sonograms

I have that too. I really didn't start feeling baby moveuntil about 23-24wks. Now at 33 wks I feel him all the time.
