Antibiotics lessening effectiveness of BCP?
Anyone ever hear of someone getting preggo while taking antiobiotics on BCP? I know the dr. always says use another form of BC but how ineffective does it actually make the pill, and is it ineffective for the entire month, or just during the time that you are on antibiotics? TIA!

i have always been told to use a backup until i start the next pack

My SIL got PG because she was on antibiotic. It clearly states it would lessen the effect of BCP.
You need a backup plan for the whole month.
