Antibiotics and IVF
As I previously posted, I was wondering about steroids/antibiotics for an IVF cycle w/ assisted hatching- My new question is - Has anyone taken antibioics (or DH too) for an IVF cycle w/out AH ???...My last cycle - RE didnt have me on any (or DH) and I'm wondering if thats the norm (it wasnt an AH cycle). Sorry if this is a double post-Just wanted to hear from some of you that maybe didnt do AH also  ...Thanks !

Yes...we didn't do AH, just IVF w/ICSI.

Thank you !....We are doing ISCI for the 1st time this cycle also so maybe he will put me on antibiotics this time- Do you remember when you started taking them in the cycle (BCP's, stims, after ER etc...) I always try not to 2nd guess the doctors but I just get worried that "they forgot to tell me something"- and I make myself crazy !

Yes..
My husband started his antibotics the first day I started stimming, so they could be sure his little guys were healthy day of ER.
I started my antibotics and the medrol the night of my ER. (not the night before, but the actual day of ER).
ETS: The reason for the antibotics after ER is that you can be prone to infection afterwards and they want to make sure that doesn't happen.
