Antibiotics
Can you take anitibiotics while you are pregnant? I have been getting really bad pains in my ear and think I might have an ear infection. I have an appt for the Dr for 2:30 but am wondering if there is anything they would be able to give me.

I think I read that anything with -cillan in it is safe for you to take. Like penicillan, amoxicillan...but you will only know when you go to the doctor...

yes you can but certain ones you will have to see a dr for them to prescribe it.
i think it has to be level C (dont quote me i did not take any antibotics during this preg so far.)

Only certain ones. I had an corneal abrasion last week that my Dr. would've normally treated with anti-biotics, but told me should couldn't b/c I'm pg. She just gave me some eyedrops instead.
