Antibiotic left in car
I'm a bit of a worrier by nature and tend to over Google things, but can't find an answer to this one and was wondering if anyone would know.
I was prescribed an antibiotic in capsule form, along with a pain killer. I was in so much pain after I picked up the prescriptions that I left them on the floor of the passenger side of my car, maybe for about an hour and 15 minutes. I took them right after I realized where they were. Both pills felt a little warm, but I didn't think anything of it.
Do you think they're okay? I've taken 4 of the antibiotic and 2 of the pain killer, and I can tell the pain killer is working but I'm wondering about the antibiotic.
TIA

Re: Antibiotic left in car
It should be fine as long as it didn't say it had to be refrigerated like the liquid kind for kids sometimes.
But if you are concerned, I'd just call the pharmacy and ask

They're fine. I've left an antibiotic in the car for way longer than that. Called the pharmacy and they said it wasn't a problem.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I also asked a friend of a friend whom I forgot was a pharmacist.
