Anterior Placenta?

So I found out last night that I have an anterior placenta, which is why I don't feel the baby all that much. Anyone with an anterior placenta, when did the kicks get stronger? When did DH feel the baby? Thanks!

Re: Anterior Placenta?

I have it and was very upset at first by the thought of not being able to feel the baby as well... However I started feeling him at around 20 weeks, DH felt him first at 21 weeks and you wouldn't believe what this LO is doing to me now at almost 37 weeks. He was very active from pretty early on so I feel him just fine and my stomach is dancing all over the place! I did hear of people not being able to feel their LOs at all but that was not the case for me, I even wonder sometimes if it's this strong for me how do girls without this issue survive all the movement.

I have one. I didn't feel the baby until around 22 weeks. DH felt it pretty soon after that. The kicks/movement were pretty strong before I felt them so it didn't take long for them to start moving the outside my belly.

Thanks. I can feel her now almost everyday at 24w, but DH still can't. I am getting impatient!

Re: Anterior Placenta?

I just found out that i have this at 28w. I had been feeling her pretty regularly since 20w and it had gotten stronger and then sort of got way less frequent and i mentioned it to my doctor yesterday and he did an ultrasound to be sure everything was fine and they said i am feeling her less because of the anterior placenta.

I have one and didn't feel him consistently until 25 weeks. Now at 33 weeks, I feel him all throughout the day.

Re: Anterior Placenta?

i have an anterior placenta....i didn't really feel him until 24-25 weeks....DH was able to feel him around 27-28 weeks...now at 30 weeks he moves my whole stomach around and everyone who has wanted to feel him has felt him multiple times...i was bummed at first because it took so long to feel him but trust me he's more than made up for it!
